By using RU Scheduling (“the site”) you agree to these terms. They are short; please read them.

An unofficial tool

The site is an independent student project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. “Rutgers” and the names of its systems (WebReg, Degree Navigator, Course Schedule Planner) are the university’s trademarks, used here only to describe what the site is about. The site’s own name does not imply any connection with the university.

No guarantee of accuracy

• Course offerings, meeting times and open/closed status are copied from the public Schedule of Classes and can lag behind it or contain errors. The Schedule of Classes and WebReg are authoritative.
• Degree audits are computed from published requirement pages that were captured on a date and modelled as rules. They are an advising aid, not an official evaluation. Only Degree Navigator and your academic advisor can tell you where you stand.
• Prerequisite checks read the notes the Schedule of Classes publishes and can misread them. Department rules, placement tests and special permission numbers are not modelled.

The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, its maintainers are not liable for any loss that follows from relying on it — a missed registration, a requirement counted wrongly, a schedule that does not exist as shown.

Your account and data

You are responsible for keeping your password private. You may delete your data at any time from the Account page; see the privacy policy for what is kept and where.

Fair use of the service

The site and its course-data API are free for personal use by students. Please do not scrape them in bulk, overload them, or use them to build something that breaks Rutgers’ own terms. The service may change or stop at any time.
